WHATS GOING ON AT LITTLE RAYS THIS MONTH
June 2019
We will be hopefully spending a lot of time outdoors this month. The children will be supported in selecting new flowers and resources for our outdoor areas. With the new patio area in place, I am hoping to get the front gate installed so we can develop and use the front garden areas more.
There will be a focus on written communication using activities such as chalk play, painting, creating shopping lists and sand play.
SNEAK PEAK AT NEXT MONTH
We will be focusing on our language and physical development. We will continue to use our play to expand our communication skills both verbally and non-verbally. We will be using both fine and gross motor skills.
We will be getting very mucky with paints, chalks, mud and water play. The children love to explore, which helps develop their desire to learn, self esteem and early skills such as writing.
Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice to us and we will be able to utilise the wonderful parks and countryside we have nearby. Can I ask that children all have sun hats, coats and appropriate footwear for whatever the british weather sends our way.
